How long is a work day for an internship?

Im thinking about doing an internship. I go to school fulltime and work fulltime. Im willing to work part time to fit in an internship im just wondering is it usually 4 or 8 hours a day??

1. It depends on the internship. They could be full time or part time, but normally you wouldn't get to pick your own schedule and are typically done while school isn't in session.
2. It really depends on the internship. I've worked at a few that were really accomodating (I could only work a few hours twice a week) and that worked out well. I've also worked at some that were more strict (8-5 everyday, not very flexible) If you are doing it for school credit you may want to ask a councilor about it. I know that at my school, for a 3-credit internship we had to work about 160 hours a semester, but I think that it depends on the school. Best of luck!
